This cemetery stands on the west coast of Islay, grid reference NR212630, near the ruined church. It is situated 3 miles west of Bruichladdich, off the B8018 road. The cemetery is the last resting place of the victims of the sinking of the Otranto in the bay in 1918.

Engineer Lieutenant Peter Brown
Son of Crawford and Jane Brown, of 35, West Holmes Gardens, Musselburgh. Born at Bonnyrigg.
Regiment/Service: Royal Naval Reserve, H.M.S. "Otranto."
Date of death: 6 October 1918 at the age of 32
Grave reference: 1. 5.

I have been promised pictures of just over a dozen more wargrave stones in this cemetery, which I shall post upon receipt.
