Warrant Officer Peter Turvey Wilkinson - Pilot RAF. Mosquito No LR 559. He died 22 October 1944 when the Mosquito he was in crashed into a house on the outskirts of Haddington. He was the son of Mr Colin Clarence Wilkinson and Mrs Beatrice Turvey Wilkinson of Boswall Green, Edinburgh.

Mod Edit Adam:Private Purves's death was actually a suicide. His service record details that he attached a lanyard to the trigger of his rifle and shot himself. Thanks to Alistair McEwen for providing that information
