"The window was dedicated to Pilot Officer Peter St Clair Erskine, who died on active service 1939, and to his stepfather, Wing Commander Sir John Milbanke, who died in 1947 from injuries also received during World War II. Designed by William Wilson. Theme is an airman standing on White Cliffs of Dover, with the St Clair and Milbanke family mottos -'Fight' and 'Resolute and Firm' respectively - and the patron saints of Scotland and England, St Andrew and St George."
