The light was fading (as is obvious from some of my pix) but on leaving I took this final shot of the Cross of Sacrifice surrounded by graves of men and women of many nationalities with the lights of Aberdeen Airport - formerly RAF Dyce - in the background.
I was touched by the care so clearly lavished on this cemetery and the equal treatment of friends and former foes alike in the distribution of poppies. _________________ La a' Blair 's Math na Cairdean |
