Also his son Donald McBean, Tacksman of Auchterblair died 22nd Oct 1883 aged 42 years. Also Elizabeth MacDonald wife of Lieut. McBean died 1st Jan 1890 aged 86 years. Also his daughter Elizabeth died at Craig Cowan, Carrbridge 27th Dec 1915 aged 76 years and his daughter Helen, the last member of his family died at Nethy Bridge 6th Feb 1934 aged 90 years.
