Captain James Cameron of the family of Glennevis, formerly of the Royal Highland Regiment and in 1791 of the Strathspey Volunteers, who was long resident at Kinrara and The Croft and of whom it was truly said of, a competent Judge that few united so superior an understanding to so affectionate a heart, and such unblemished integrity. And of his spouse Grace Grant of the family of Rothiemurchus, both of whom departed this life at an advanced age in 1815 respected and lamented by all who knew them.
