Re the book called " The Last voyage of His Majesty's Hospital Ship - BRITANNIC " by Rev John A Fleming , MA., C.F. with additional notes by Simon Mills april 1998.
The Rev John Alexander Fleming , Prebyterian Chaplain aboard HMHS Britannic . Fleming 's tour of duty on board Britannic lasted barely 3 months . For many years after the sinking he relived his last minutes on board
The headstone of Rev John Alexander FLEMING , MA., C.F., is in Abernethy Churchyard . In 1920, He married Alice Dorothy Ballantyne ,whom he had met while both were working in an army hospital at Camiers in France. He died at Stracathro Hospital on 4th May 1953
( HMHS Britannic was I think a sister ship to the Titanic )
