The CWG site has two entries for this cemetery - Lasswade Cemetery and Lasswade Old Churchyard. One is opposite the other two across a country lane.
To get to Lasswade Cemetery follow the Lasswade Road (A768) heading towards Bonnyrigg. Just past the Laird and Dug pub on the right before you cross the bridge there is a small side road (School Green). Turn into this road and go up the hill (School Brae), the cemetery and parking area is on your right
Split into three sections - one contains the old Kirk, old graves and is very tidy. The other just to the side of this one contains some old graves and not quite so tidy and the newer section is across the road from these two, with the burials on the side of the hill.

2nd Lt. Frank .Symons Bussel Beedle, Gord. Highrs.
For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in an attack. When the leading waves were held up by an enemy machine gun and the whole attack was in danger of being delayed, he led his platoon forward, captured the gun and took the crew prisoners. Later, he carried out a daring reconnaissance and also led a fighting patrol, obtaining valuable information on both occasions. He showed splendid courage and initiative |
