This cemetery is listed on CWGC as Kilmadock Burial Ground which leads to much confusion.

It should be listed as Kilmadock Cemetery, off the B826 (Thornhill Road).

There are 7 CWGC listed graves (2 WW1, 5 WW2).

Kilmadock Burial Ground is a very old graveyard which lies in the middle of fields close to Buchany (A84) with no vehicular access. (To get to it, a woodland path has to be followed leading to open agricultural land).

Both locations come under the care of Stirling Council.

The 7 CWGC graves will be listed alphabetically by surnames, followed by family graves.

Falkirk Herald, 13th July 1918, ‘Influenza Epidemic’
The influenza epidemic , which has been prevalent over the country, has made itself felt in Bonnybridge and district during the past week or so. The epidemic, which has attacked both children and adults, is of a mild type, no very serious cases having been reported locally. Elsewhere, however, the malady has proved serious, and it is with regret we have to report the death of two young Bonnybridge persons. Mrs. Roy, Wortland Square, wife of Private Alfred Roy, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, while on a visit to her husband at Galashiels, died on Sunday morning last, after a few days illness. She was 25 years of age and leaves three young children. Henry McAlpine, Royal Navy, aged 17 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. McAlpine, Barleyhill, Bonnybridge, died at the Naval Hospital, Plymouth on Monday. He enlisted only six weeks ago, prior to which he was employed as a moulder by Smith and Wellstood, Ltd., Bonnybridge Foundry.

1901 Census, Living at 11 Main Street, Kilmadock, Perthshire
Father Henry McAlpine, age 36, Slater, born Deanston, Perthshire
