Additional Info. Son of Nannie (Agnes) Hester Hazlewood Middleton of 38 Inverleith Place, Edinburgh and the late George Hodgson Middleton. Headstone in France reads: "Greater Love Hath No Man".
Commemorated on family headstone in Strathmiglo, Fife. Brothers George and James also fell.

Headstone in Germany reads: "He That Loseth His Life For My Sake Shall Find It".
Son of Nannie (Agnes) Hester Hazlewood Middleton of 38 Inverleith Place, Edinburgh and the late George Hodgson Middleton. Commemorated on family headstone in Strathmiglo, Fife.
Brothers Alexander and George also fell.
