OS Map Ref NX 574 938

This is a private cemetery for the Clark-Kennedy family in the Knockgray estate above Carsphairn. The cemetery is set in cemetery wood.

My thanks to Hugh Clark-Kennedy for permission to visit the cemetery, take photos and publish them.

As this is only a small family cemetery with many military connections, I will post all of the burials in the cemetery.

Number of CWGC burials nil

Lt Col A John Clark Kennedy MC
of Knockgray
12th Royal Lancers
12.03.1918 - 10.02.2010

something a little odd here - the two sides each report 'son of' with dates but no names! Has something gone missing from the memorial?

Lt Col John W J Clark Kennedy
born 7.11.1875 died 19.6.1939

both of those listed on this stone have individual small stones and I would guess that these pre-date the major monument.
