***** WORK IN PROGRESS**********

There's a CWGC headstone there to Pte A Turner S/15375.
But the CWGC database has him listed at Thiepval.
I've found his name in a hospital report as being sent back to Britain in May 1916.
I'm concluding that he died at home and has been wrongly listed at thiepval?
The Cemetery Register for Galashiels doesn't carry his name but the fact that his CWGC headstone there has been cared for indicates that someone knows that he's there.

This map and others were kindly supplied by the Scottish Borders Council.

To them many thanks as it saved a lot of walking.

CWGC's own Grave Registration document confirms the date as December 1916 as do all the other record (SDGW, Medal Rolls, Soldiers Effects) and scotlandspeople. I have asked CWGC to correct.
