This stone can be found on the wall at the right hand side of the church. As you can see it is also very difficult to read.

Sacred to the memory of Francis Huntings ANSELL, late Captain 7th Regt of Foot who died at Portobello ............. aged............. Also Sarah his wife who died at Portobello 18th January 1849 aged 77.

This stone can be found amongst the graves on the right hand side of the church, about mid way.

Joseph HUEY. M.D assistant surgeon in the 14th Kings Light Dragoons died 28th April 1838. (This stone replaces one erected by his brother officers as a mark of esteem and regard for their departed friend)

This stone can be found about mid way up the graves on the right hand side of the churchyard.

Sacred to the memory of our most dearly beloved mother Mona GARNER dear wife of George Danskin TAIT born at Chorlton Didsbury on 1ST October 1898 died at Portobello on 21st July 1977. Major Kenneth Garner TAIT cherished oldest son, beloved husband of Margaret COLLINS and a dear father born 22nd October 1924 died 26th June 1982. “Rest in peace”

This stone can be found amongst the stones to the right of the church.

In loving memory of Martha, widow of Major Charles PIERCE who died at Portobello 16th October 1907, also of the said Charles PIERCE late of Ajmir India who died at sea 6th Sept 1906. Erected by their children.

This stone can be found on the right hand side of the churchyard. It was extremely difficult to read, and as a result has not really come out well in the photo either.

Erected by Alexander George HOME M.D. J.P of Whitfield in affectionate remembrance of Hannah Priscilla his beloved wife who died on 14th March 1874 at Mount Aeolus Portobello aged 50 years, also to the memory of the above named Alexander George HOME late Queens Dragoon Guards who died on 17th September 1875 at Mount Aeolus aged 74 years.

This stone can be found near the bottom of the stones on the right.

In memory of Thomas H FRANKS Lieut. RNR born 31st March 1849 died 5th August 1909.

This stone can be found in front of the church. Lt. Col Halyburton was one of the founders. Unfortunately it is very difficult to read.





Sacred to the memory of Lieut. Colonel Robert M........ HALYBURTON late of the 7th Royal fusiliers who died 25th Sept 1831 aged 75 years, buried with military honours by the 3rd Dragoon Guards at the Holy Trinity Diocese the County of.................... (Unable to read the rest of the stone)

On the left hand wall within the chapel can be found this commemorative tablet.

I think this is now complete, but as the later part of the chapel was actually buit on top of some graves I can not be certain until I contact the Rector to find out.
