I could not find Thomas on CWGC; the only 28 year old Campbell who died in 14 Jun 1916 is Peter Campbell (Black Watch) whose family hailed from Perth - as might be expected from a member of the Black Watch.

Anne,

Could be. I was looking, primarily, for a Brit who died on the same date as the grave indicated. I suppose that the next stage is Commonwealth forces and dates slightly askew from Thomas' gravestone.
