Both boys have no known grave and are commemorated on CWGC memorials. I don't know if the parents David Douglas Forbes or Jeanie Menzies Forbes were buried here later? Age: 19 Date of Death: 14/04/1918 Service No: 350698 Additional information: Son of Mr. and Mrs. David Douglas Forbes, of "Glenara", Oban, Argyllshire. Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 9. Memorial: PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL This stone has a very nice detail of a Lee Enfield rifle. It has been damaged slightly.
