North Tolsta is located 13 miles north of Stornoway at the end of the B895. The cemetery can be found from the main road through the village by turning right about 100 yards before the church, and following the signs Cladh Tholastadh. Please do not drive down this track. You can park in the village centre.

The graveyard is located about half a mile (1 km) from the village, just above Traigh Mhor (the Big Beach). It is positioned on a fairly steep slope.

Grid reference: NB544479

Some of the casualties listed in this section have a patronymic, quoted in italics.
