Ardroil is a crofting hamlet in the district of Uig, located some 40 miles west of Stornoway. The village lies 1½ miles west of Timsgarry which can be reached along the B8011 from Garynahine. The roadsigns refer to it as Eadar Dha Fhadhail.

The cemetery is located off the road towards Mangurstadh and Breanais; there is a sign along the road at the top off an incline, located at grid reference NB042321, 200 metres west of the road to the campsite.

The wargraves are located in the lower part of the cemetery; the top portion was opened only in the last few years.
