Scarista is a village in south Harris, along the A859 road, which leads south from Tarbert to Leverburgh. The cemetery is located adjacent to Scarista House, between the church and the road.

Memorial: TOWER HILL MEMORIAL

SS Tregarthen was torpedoed near position 51°48N 20°48W in the Atlantic by U-48, and sank within 3 minutes with all hands.
