Dr Jon,

Quite a magnificently well kept cemetery and a wonderful presentation by you of all Air Forces graves.

Sorry to be a pain about this, but in future can there be one post for each individual photograph?

It makes it easier to add in further information on a single casualty.

I've now added to the guidelines of the forum to make it clear that this is what should be done in future.

The grave for the Fairweathers is quite unusual. Not saying it is unique, but I don't previously remember seeing a grave for a husband and wife who both died on military service.

Hi,

KW Noble was an Old Boy from my school. Can anyone throw any light on the circumstances of his death (other than CWGC)? I can't find any reference on the Lost Bombers site.

Also could I please use a copy of the photo on my web site with a credit?

Thanks.

Clive.

Noble is not listed in Fighter Command Losses vol 3 for this date, nor in Bomber Command losses vol 7 for this date nor in Transport and Special duties losses for this period. So it looks like he may come under some other command, sorry.

I would like to inquire about George Wilcox. He was a friend of my parents in Windsor Nova Scotia where he lived for sometime. I understand from my parents that George was killed in action, when his plane was shot down. Is it possible to find out the location of this unfortunate event. Thank you so much, Diane Poirier
