Erected by William and Margaret Duncan in loving memory of their dear daughter Isabella who died 15th July 1884 aged 3 years. Also of their dear son Alfred, S/40001 2nd Seaforth Highlanders died 22nd Dec 1916 aged 19 years, who sleeps in a soldiers grave at St Servers Cemetery, Rouen, France. Also the above William Duncan who died 18th Oct 1935 aged 66 years. Also Margaret Duncan, beloved wife of Wm Duncan and dear mother of Bella and Alfred, died 28th Feb 1943 age 81 years.

In loving memory of my dear husband Hugh Ross, Contractor, Greenyards died on 27th Nov 1906 aged 71 years. Also his beloved wife Barbara Matheson who died 7th March 1915 aged 51 years. And their daughter Johan who died in the Royal Infirmary, Perth 4th Sept 1911 aged 20 years. And their youngest son Hugh, 1st Scots Guards who was killed in action at the crossing of the Canal Du Nord 27th Sept 1918 age 21 years.

Also their son Archibald Wilson, died at Edderton 4th Jan 1946 aged 88 years beloved husband of Sarah Ross. Also their son Alastair Wilson, Gordon Highlanders who was killed in action at 3rd Dec 1942 aged 31 years. Deeply Mourned.

Erected by John Donald Ross, Mason in loving memory of his father John Ross, Pensioner and Tenant, Syall who served his Queen and country in the 78th Highlanders for over 21 years. Retired in 1860 with medals for Persia, Lucknow, long service and good conduct and died at Syall 9th Sept 1881 aged 66 years. Also in loving memory of his mother Ann MacLeay who died at Syall 10th April 1906 aged 85 years.
