And of their family John died 20th March 1884 aged 15 years, Robert died 28th March 1884 aged 18 years, Helen died 15th Oct 1876 aged 1 year. Also their son Sergt. George MacIntosh ¼ Seaforth Highlanders died No 14 General Hospital, Boulogne, France 17th March 1915 aged 20 years. The said John McIntosh died 20th March 1933 aged 86 years and his wife Betsy Sutherland died 8th March 1929 aged 66 years. Also their daughters Janet died 6th Nov 1933 aged 26 years. Jemima died in May 1966.

Erected by John MacKerchar, Minister, Avoch and Euphemia MacFarlane his wife in memory of their daughters Euphemia who died 20th July 1878 aged 4 years, Margaret who died 4th Dec 1882 aged 3 years. Robert James younger son, Corporal (2/4th Cameron Highlanders) attached 7th Cameron Highlanders born 15th March 1881, fell in action on the Somme 23rd Oct 1916. Christina who died 12th Nov 1951, John who died 18th Dec 1958. Janet who died 11th July 1959, Euphemia MacKerchar 1882-1965.

In loving memory of John MacLean, Registrar who died at Avoch 2nd Jan 1932 aged 70 years and his wife Alice Gray also died there 5th July 1908 aged 44 years. Also their son Duncan killed in action at Arras 1st May 1917 aged 19 years. Donald Maclean Road Contractor 29th Jan ?? and his wife Janet Jack died 28th Oct ?? Also their daughter Margaret Matheson died 11th Jan 1931.
