In Loving Memory of Pilot Officer John MacGillivray RAF VR killed in action on the night of 16th Jan 1942 aged 25 years. One of the many to whom we owe so much. Also his brother Hamish who died 22nd May 1948 aged 19 years. Their father Captain John MacGillivray OBE Lovat Scout 1914-18 who died 24th Aug 1957 aged 77 years. His wife their Mother Mary Jane Carrick who died 26th Sep 1973 aged 86 years. Their daughter Sheena Mary MacGillivray who died 25th Jan 1999, aged 78 years.

Also the said Louisa Akroyd Ormiston who passed away on the 8th Mar 1971 aged 91 years, and their elder daughter Margaret Sheila Gordon who passed away 4th July 1986 aged 69 years.

Interred at Loos in the Camerons Cemetery. James who died 8th Aug 1945 aged 43 years.

And our dear son Kenneth who died at Invergordon on 19th Dec 1922 aged 26 years, Also the said George Urquhart who died at Meddat 7th Feb 1935 aged 81 years and Christina their daughter who died 11th July 1964. And George their eldest son who died at Inverary 2nd Feb 1949 aged 64 years and his eldest daughter Henrietta (Etta) who died at 12 Murray Road Invergordon on Dec 27th 1980 age 79.

To Remember Jane Mary Stow Durham MBE Scotsburn House who loved the buildings traditions and people of the Highlands and who died 1st April 1997 in her 73rd year . Laid to rest beside her parents. Also Phil Durham R.N. D.S.C. who fought for his country and the people of the Highlands and died 8th Aug 2001 in his 81st year.

In Loving Memory of our father Robert Simpson died at Lamington 15th April 1924 and his wife Elspeth MacDonald also died there 29th April 1940. And their family George died 19th March 1929, Annie died 27th Sep 1931 James died at Aberdeen 20th Aug 1945, Alex died at Australia 20th Oct 1945.John died at Calgary Alberta 5th Dec 1922 and his wife Jane Kennedy died 22nd Dec 1927 Mary died 19th September 1937 and her husband Roderick J Ross died 27th July 1943 Also their son Duncan accidentally killed while serving in the RAF 13th Nov 1937.Charles accidentally killed Nov 1942 and their sons Walter Robert David Frank Tom and Will.
