Erected by Major John Wood and his sisters to the memory of their father Major Andrew Wood born 1770 died 20th July 1834 and to their mother Kennethina Wood born 3rd Dec 1795 died 29th Jan 1878. Also their sisters and brothers Anne born 27th Jan 1820 died 13th Sep 1826, Andrew born 29th June 1824 died 4th Jan 1826, Simona Janetta born 24th Nov 1830 died 1831, all whose remains are interred here and Kenneth MacKenzie who was interred in Glasgow born 18th July 1822 died 26th Feb 1863 and also the above named Major John Joseph Wood born 4th March 1818 died 12th Oct 1888. And his sisters Sophia Lavinia Wood born 18th Sep 1826 died 9th May 1900 and Ann MacKenzie Wood born 5th Nov 1827 died 10th May 1884.
