St Michael's Church, Inveresk Musselburgh, East Lothian occupies the highest point on a ridge lying to the south of Musselburgh and above the River Esk. The impressive edifice of St Michael's Parish Church lies at the western end of the village of Inveresk and its prominent location ensures it can be seen over a wide area.

A church is said to have occupied this site since the 6th Century. One of which was dedicated to St Michael and All Angels and was granted to Dunfermline Abbey by David I c.1128.The present structure, which was built in 1805, takes the form of a Georgian box, with a tall tower above. The inside was remodelled in 1893 and the entrance moved from the north side to the south.

The churchyard contains memorials from the late 17th Century and many noted individuals from the surrounding area lie there, including the Lords Elphinstone, the Hopes of Pinkie and Craighall and Thomas Mylne, the architect.

There are also 72 CWGC graves within the cemetery.

National Grid Ref: NT344721.

The gates to St Michael's, with a side view of the WWI Memorial on the left, just outside the gate.
