Hi folks
Hope this email works having problems.
Anyway, I live in Linlithgow and am the Treasurer of the West Lothian Family History Society and our summer project is to photograph all war graves in West Lothian for our site. Because of this I came upon Scottish War Graves Project site and noticed all the photograph taken in Linlithgow, help me locate the ones I could not find.
I have also been looking for my family in Dunfermline and have found a lot of war Graves there . So have taken as many War Headstones as I could and will go back later in the month. I will try to post them on the site later on in the year, its a big cemetry.
Thanks

Welcome Frances
I hope you have found our other project also? Scottish War Memorials Project (www.scottishwarmemorials.co.uk).
If you need a hand posting your first photos then just post a reply to this thread asking for help and I am sure one of us will be available to help.

Hi Paul
Thanks I most likely will take the offer up, I will have to go through all the pictures and weed the bad ones out and do a bit more research. which will take time as I have never done anything like this before.
Found the Scottish War Project, really still a wee bit confused to why there is 2 sites. Which site would I put my photo's on?
thanks.

Photos of war graves or other graves with military inscriptions (anything in a churchyard or cemetery) go on this project. Anything to do with war memorials (civic memorials, memorials inside churches, schools, village halls or anywhere else) go on the Scottish War Memorials Project.
