The cemetery at North Boisdale is located in machair land, about a mile from the village of North Boisdale (Baghasdail on the roadsigns). From the South Uist spinal road (the A865), take the B888 at Daliburgh, following the signs for the Barra ferry. Turn right for Baghasdail and proceed to the village cross roads; continue straight ahead on a road with a very poor surface. The burial ground stands out after the track makes a dogleg left, with a ruin on the skyline. It is possible to park where a path makes for the graveyard; please ensure the track remains unobstructed as it is the access for a factory, a little way further along.

Please note that the roadsigns in South Uist are almost exclusively in Gaelic.
