OS Map Ref: NX 101 603
Inch churchyard is beside the A75 on the Stranraer side of Castle Kennedy.
Number of CWGC burials 4
The churchyard is notable as having a number of burials and commemorations from MV Princess Victoria, a roll on roll off ferry which sank in the great storm of 31st January 1953 with the loss of over 130 lives. The radio officer, David Broadfoot, was posthumously awarded the George Cross for staying at his post and giving continual messages until the ship sank.

This is a private stone on a CWGC listed grave.
Note that the location of this grave is incorrectly recorded on CWGC which gives it as NE graveyard whereas it is actually NW. The NE section contains later graves including a 1993 grave for Private Reed which will be in CWGC care and may account for the confusion. (edit - I reported this error to CWGC on 2 August 2009)
