Commemorated on the family headstone, Brora cemetery. (2 sons died in 1912 (Donald) and 1918(James))
(Not recorded in the Clan Mackay Society War Memorial Roll of Honour)

Private MacKay has a CWGC headstone and he is also Commemorated on the family headstone next to it.

Note that by 1918 her husband and two sons were dead but Jane Murray lived until 1983.

Note that Alexander Sutherland's headstone is a private memorial made to look like a CWGC headstone.

I don't know the relationship between these two men but given their ages I'd guess they were brothers. It would be interesting to see Alexander's grave in Aden.

Graeme Coghill tragically died in 1990 whilst on holiday in Mexico.

'In the service of Peace' refers to him just returning from peacekeeping duties in Africa with the UN before he travelled to Acapulco on holiday.
