CWGC are proposing to erect head stones and are looking for relatives of Private 1042181 John Macdonald, buried in Forres (Cluny Hill) Cemetery, Moray.
What it doesn't make clear is that John was serving with the Canadian Army Medical Corps when he died on 13 May 1920.
However he appears to have been born in Forres ("Forrest" on his attestation papers) on 11 December 1899 http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/cef/001042-119.02-e.php?image_url=http://data2.archives.ca/cef/gpc012/532314a.gif&id_nbr=153057
and, from a search on scotlandspeople, he seems to have died there.
MacDONALD, JOHN
Rank:Private
Service No:1042181
Date of Death:13/05/1920
