Hello,
I've just signed up, having been encouraged by Spoons over on the Great War Forum.

My name is Clive and I live right on the N.E.Welsh-English border. I'm from the Gwynedd area originally, however, and for the last 35 years (off and on) I've been gathering information on those WW1 casualties linked to the county and island of Anglesey. Aim at present is to present the info in book/CD-ROM/website format before I reach my Old Age Pension...

In more recent years I've decided to try and get a picture of these peoples' gravestones or official Memorial panels. There are several with War Graves in Scotland and I'll hope to post their details in the appropriate regions shortly.

Likewise, I know of a few Scots-born or Scottish regimental war graves in North Wales, if they count as part of this Forum's interest? Does Wales count as an "Overseas Region" if I'm eventually able to post images of their gravestones here?

Hoping to make your better acquaintance

Welcome Clive, I think Wales (and England) for that matter count as overseas for the purpose of this forum. Our aim is to photograph all war graves and graveyard inscriptions in Scotland but we provide the overseas section for those who wish to see 'their' men commemorated. Look forward to seeing your posts.
