The graveyard at Clachan Sands is located a few hundred yards from the main road which links the island of Berneray (with its ferry terminal for Harris) to Lochmaddy, the main town in North Uist. It is signposted as Cladh Shanndaigh.

Please note that this cemetery is built over a fairly steep hill.
