The cemetery at Ardmichael is situated in machair land near the village of Stoneybridge [Staoinebrig]. From the A865, the South Uist spinal road, take the turn-off for Staoinebrig and continue past the school. The cemetery is signposted from this road as Cladh Ard-mhichael, and is prominent from the approach road. Ard Michael is a headland between two sweeping beaches.

Please note that the shoreline north of the cemetery is marked as a military danger area on the OS-maps (due to its proximity to the rocket firing range further north). All warning signs and notices should be observed.
