What is the "claim on the headstone" that James was killed in F&F?
And has anyone checked the location of the grave in Berlin?

Tomasz Cieslik, a Polish national, has found the headstone of Black Watch soldier Private James Robertson, believed to have been born in Markinch, in the town of Orzysz in the north-east of Poland—despite a claim on the headstone that the soldier died in France and Flanders.

Adding further confusion to the soldier’s background, an entry on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website states that Private Robertson is buried in a cemetery in Berlin, similar to many soldiers whose remains were moved after the conclusion of the war.

Mr Cieslik first came across the grave two years ago in a cemetery filled with the bodies of Russian and Prussian soldiers, and has since had little luck in finding out any more information on Pte Robertson.

Is it because the theatre of war he was fighting in when captured was France & Flanders?
