Erected in memory of our only son Cpl James Wylie (Recce Corps) lost at sea 24th June 1944 aged 24, John Charles Ackroyd DSM beloved husband of Nan Wylie died 22nd June 1978 and his dear mother Rachel Marshall beloved wife of Duncan Wylie died 29th May 1960 aged 64 and his father the above Duncan Wylie died 4th July 1977 aged 82.

Captain William Mitchell Millar is the son of Geoffrey William Mitchell Millar. He married Susan Blanche Paget, daughter of Brevet Major Oswald Leopold Paget and Barbara Mackintosh Paul, on 29 November 1956.
Captain William Mitchell Millar gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Grenadier Guards. He was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.). He lived at Craighill, Kinellan Road, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.

There was an article in tonights "Evening News" about a fighter plane which crashed at Craiglockart, killing the crew. Pilot Thomas Lennox-French is buried in this cemetery.

The fifth was an American, seconded to the RAF, he was 1st Lieutenant S Kaulis of the US Signal Corps.
