A friend of mine Fraser Mitchell from Strichen was visiting relatives in the city and visited this Grange Cemetery this weekend and came across a family erected headstone that named the son Pte 291866 John Brown , "C " Coy , 1/7 Bn Black Watch died of wounds Cologne Germany on 1 April 1918

CWGC index shows Cologne Southern Cemetery Germany, XIII C 8 the son of James and Margaret Fisher Brown of 24 Polwarth Terrace Edinburgh
