CWGC are now aware of the date error in this case, I have supplied an official record which confirms this. I may well simply be a scanning error of recent vintage.

It looks to me as if the date on the family stone is correct. Despite his being buried locally his NOK have not provided any information to CWGC. _________________ Jim
