Friedrich Schanze was my grandpa's brother!

I was very impressed when suddenly his name appeared on the screen. I feel very happy, that he got a grave and gravestone. And, naturally, I'd would like learn more about the circumstances of his dead an his burial.

I believe that Friedrich Schanze died in the crash at Rothes of Ju188F-1 280608 A6+HH crew (Fw F. Schanze, Oblt J. Winne and W. Sebisch). I don't know any more I'm afraid

edit - flew into a hill 5km NW of Rothes whilst flying on a mission from Norway (possibly). May have been on a Recce mission.
