I am trying to find information on a nurse, lost in a bombing raid on a London hospital (name not known) during the Second World War. Any useful links and search tips welcome.

As far as I know she was civilian. She is not on the CWGC civilian war dead list.

I do have a few non-com civilian nurses. Do you have any other details that might narrow my search down?

The nurse was called Malina (or Melina) Mackay (or Mckay), born in the Isle of Lewis, district of Carloway, in 1916. She disappeared without trace following a direct hit on the hospital (no name handed down).

Any info welcome.

No MacKay's or McKay's unfortunately but I have kept a note of the details just in case anything turns up.

If I find anything will be in touch.
