This is a copy of a photograph held in the archive of the Royal Scots Museum. There was very little information about the photograph. I am unsure of the date this was taken, so it may be quite old and the grave may no longer be in existence.

The city of Belgaum is the headquarters of the district of the same name, which is located in the state of Karnataka, India.

I am unable to determine which cemetery this grave is (or was?) located in, although I have seen reports of a Christian Catholic cemetery in the area.

I have not been able to locate any further information on Private W Smith at this present time.
