From a correspondant................
"He died at the Royal Hotel in Dunbar of a gunshot wound to the head"
However, as he is listed on SNWM this was not considered to be a suicide. Surprising then that his name is not on the Dunbar war memorial where he died and where he is buried.

There is a headstone for WB Jardine G68, right next to J Turnbull G70 it is a Family headstone.There are also headstones for F Reed Tall white Celtic Cross, on path section E faces Boundary wall, Alexander Smith Millar,red Granite stone against boundary wall in section A92. SH Henderson is also in section A 320 tall grey Granite as you come into the church it is on the right hand side,straight across the road from W Lough Cwgc .
