We found 3 family gravestones in the old Cemetery.

Regiment/Service: Northumberland Fusiliers 23rd (Tyneside Scottish) Bn.
Panel Reference: Pier and Face 10 B 11 B and 12 B.
Memorial: THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, FRANCE.
Additional Information:
Son of Stephen and Margaret Cunningham, of 1, Second St., Netherton Colliery, Newcastle-on-Tyne.

I'd never heard of HMS Tarlair, the experimental establishment at Hawkcraig Point, Aberdour.
