Location: Between Springburn Road and Keppochill Road, Glasgow G31 1SE
Map Reference: NS 603 671

No.of Identified Casualties: 92 (WW1 CWGC graves)

Sighthill Cemetery closed for burials in 1954 and at that time, CWGC headstones were removed from the actual graves as they could no longer be properly maintained and re-located in Glasgow (Eastwood) Cemetery.

The stones are grouped in a small Garden of Remembrance at Eastwood.

Unlike all other Cemetery Threads, the WW1 stones have all been posted first in alphabetical order followed by the WW2 stones.
(Thanks to Terry Denham for supplying details of the WW2 men)

There may, or may not be family stones still in existence in Sighthill.

**Added** A huge Thank You to Lora McGinlay for sending me the photographs of all the Sighthill stones in Eastwood Cemetery.

The following 92 men have been extracted from the total of 274 entries from Glasgow (Eastwood) Cemetery as being buried in Sighthill Cemetery.

Here are the original Great War entries from the Imperial War Graves Commission Registers which gives the original plot numbers.
