The CWG for 6423 L/Cpl. F. Young, Border Regiment, 26 June 1918 is in Dalbeattie Cemetery.
I'm looking for Birth and Service details please.
Frank was born in England about 1885. Son of Thomas and Mary (Davidson) Young. He married Mabel Reay in 1914 at Dalbeattie and died, age 33, of Phithisis Pulmanalia (TB) at William St. Dabeattie, age 33.
He appears, age 6, on the 1901 census with his family in Langholm (place of birth England) and at the time of his marriage, 27/10/1914, was already a Private in the 3rd Battalion, Border Regt.
