Carmunnock Cemetery, Holmbyre Road, Castlemilk, Glasgow

OS Grid Ref: NS 589584

There are two identified casualties in this cemetery, I could only find one.
That may have something to do with the state of this cemetery. The locals have turned it into a football park. Most of the headstones have been damaged. It is an incredible sight, for all the wrong reasons. I would be heartbroken if any of my relatives were buried here.

I've seen it all now, a football pitch in the middle of a cemetery!

Having attended a service at the Linn Crematorium, I decided to visit this cemetery and look for the second CWGC casualty.
The cemetery has been renamed and now known as LINN CEMETERY NEW EXTENSION. There have been a few more burials and I think the goalposts have been removed! I found Thomas Hodge.
As you will see, the stone has been damaged but is still readable.

Tom Crawford was my uncle who I never met. I too have been dismayed by the state of the cemetery in which he is buried. What action, if any, is open to me to remedy the situation? Can anyone help?
