One of 'mine' listed in the Non-CWGC Burials in Camelon Cemetery on this forum - now a CWGC Burial!

Flying Officer George Bernard Penman is now listed on CWCC as being buried in Camelon Cemetery

The grave is located in Section 3, Grave 407 and is marked by a 3
metre high grey granite private memorial.

See: http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=1532385

Flying Officer Penman's name will remain on the Runnymede Memorial itself until the appropriate panel is next replaced.

Good - eh?

Not my doing though, it's actually thanks to Steve Rodgers & his project - still, wouldn't have happened unless I sent the photo in years ago!! Wink

Thanks guys, but as I said, it wasn't any effort on my part - I'm just glad that his place of burial is now recorded properly.

To be honest, I stopped going down the road of trying to sort out this kind of stuff a long time ago - there were just too many outstanding queries and unanswered questions for me to pursue.

Goes to show though, that 'many hands' can eventually get things on the move and as long as the end result is good, then the more the merrier!
