In loving memory of Margaret McDonald beloved wife of James McLeod who died at Balnagown 14th June 1912 aged 44 years. Also of their beloved son John, 2nd Seaforth Highlanders killed in action on 4th Oct 1917 aged 20 years. Interred in Leipzig Farm Cemetery near Ypres and of the said James MacLeod who died at Redburn Evanton on 15th Mar 1934 aged 73 years. Also of Isabella elder daughter of the said James MacLeod who died at Dingwall on the 7th Oct 1940 aged 52 years. Also of John MacLeod who died at Evanton Feb 1903 aged 84 years and of his wife Isabella Christie who died there march 1908 aged 78 years.

Their second son Alexander who died at Cape Town South Africa in 1901, their elder daughter Margaret who died in Glasgow in 1914, their youngest son John who was killed at the Battle of Loos 25th Sept 1915 aged 23 years, their younger daughter Annie who died 1st April 1931, their eldest son Angus who died 7th May 1947.

In memory of Captain Sir David Monro born 13th May 1839 died at Falmouth Jan 1909. His wife Louisa Monro died 4th May 1920 aged 82.

Sacred to the memory of George Alexander H Monro Sub Lieu 4th Kings Own Royal Regt. Youngest and much loved son of David Monro of Allan and Elizabeth his wife. He died at Gosport 5th May 1874 aged 21 Years. Deeply lamented and esteemed by all his brother Officers for his many noble qualities and to the grief of his sorrowing parents and family.

In Memory of Lieut. Sutherland Ross Adjutant of the gallant Sirmoor Rifle Regiment who died of wounds received at the siege of Delhi 1857 after having been in twenty combats with the rebel sepoys. Age 23 Erected by his father William Ross M.D. Dingwall.
