One last photo request re. Anglesey-related casualties in Scotland, if I may.
At Osmondwall Cemetery, Hoy (grave ref. is "in old ground between the gates") is buried:
Griffith, Robert
Steward, Mercantile Marine Reserve
HMS Cambria
Died 6 November 1914, aged 30
The vessel (with its sister ships Scotia, Anglia etc ) was part of the London & North Western Railway Co. fleet operating out of Holyhead, and were taken over by the Admiralty on the outbreak of war, largely together with their original crews.
He was an LNWR employee, resident at 16 Thomas Street, Holyhead. He apparently died of diptheria aboard HM Hospital Ship China.
Your help would be much appreciated.
