Hi,
My father was killed at Sea in December 1942 about 200 miles South West of Ireland. It is known that some survivors existed but none were ever found. There is a possible reason why none made it to shore although the prevailing weather conditions suggest that survival was possible. In fact there were almost 200 personnel on board the vessel and none were ever found alive. What I am seeking is an old sea dog who might be able to forecast where the bodies may have been washed ashore. I have the exact co -ordinates so that is no problem. Likewise if any body knows of unidentified graves specifically relating to the period between January and May 1943 I would be most grateful to receive the
info. I know of one so far and it is in Oban.
Thanks for any help and guidance,
