Erected to the memory of my loved ones. Grandmother Flora MacTavish who died at Annfield Cottage, Gorthlesk on 26th April 1901 aged 71 years. Mother Johanna MacKinnon widow of Donald MacDonald who died at Annfield Cottage on the 19th of June 1940 aged 85 years. Also my dear husband Pte Hector MacDonald who was killed in France on the 3rd of May 1917 aged 25 years. And his wife Annie MacDonald who died at RNI Inverness on the 18th of Nov 1977 aged 86 years.

To the memory of Donald Fraser. A Man, a Christian and a Soldier who bled in the defence of his country. Died on the 26th Sep 1855. Also his wife Mary Fraser died on the 4th April 1881 aged 95 years. And also of their son William who died 8th Sep 1873 aged 48 years.

Erected as a tribute of filial affection to the memory of the Rev William Fraser, Chaplain of the 79th Regt Cameron Highlanders, Lieut in the 40th Regt of Foot, and afterwards was appointed Minister of this parish, which he discharged the duties of his ministry for the grace of 40 years with conscientious fidelity and died on the 8th of June 1840 aged 77 years. And Robina Muir MacBrayne his spouse having proved herself in every respect a helpmeet. Died on the 28th of May 1835 aged 57 years. . To Jessie Muir the dear companion of my youth whose acted were kindness, whose words were truth. A few short years of evil past, we reach the happy shore, where death divided friends at last, shall meet to part no more. 20th July 1869. Simon. Donald 1856, Alexander 1857, Jane Isabella MacKay 1888, Simon Fraser died at … Place, Glasgow 8th Jan 1886. Their younger daughter Jessie Muir Fraser 19.5.1881 - 30.9.1972.

To the glory of God and in memory of Hugh Murray Grant, MBE, MC, The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders & Kenya Administration. Beloved husband of Pauline. Killed on duty at Loita on Aug 16th 1946 and buried here in accordance with his own wishes.

In memory of Patrick Francis Grant, Lt Col, RA born 1895 died 1970 beloved husband of Audrey Elizabeth, eldest son of Frank & Caroline Grant of Knockie. On retirement he farmed at Knockie 1946-1966. And of Audrey Elizabeth 24.4.1908 - 5.4.1995 beloved wife and mother.
