From the BBC News website: QR-codes (which can be scanned using mobile phone technology) have been added to CWGC gravestones at a cemetery in Denbighshire

I saw something about these on the CWGC facebook page. They were appealing for biographies of casualties from certain cemeteries for just such technology to be used.

They are being added here to, some are now in place.
Below images of two in Glasgow. From the QR code a micro website has details of the cemetery and specific casualties.

Some others being unveiled by CWGC:

Queensferry Friday 23 May 11hr
Edinburgh Rosebank Saturday 24 May 11hr

Lyness Orkney Saturday 30 May 12hr

Islay early October TBC

Perth Wellshill 2 November afternoon.
